Avra Pension is located at the peaceful port of Ios Island, the area called Yalos and it is built next to a quiet little street, just a few meters away from the yachting marina and the harbor’s main square. This uniquely shaped natural port is considered as a “little Malta”, since it is distinguished for its natural narrow bay. It is an idyllic and picturesque place with numerous little stores, such as cafes, restaurants and taverns, markets, travel agencies, car and motorbike rental agencies, boutiques as well as souvenir shops. Yalos area is the best choice for your stay, since it is the most peaceful village on the island, while at the same time really close to the vibrant centre of Chora village with cosmopolitan nightlife and constantly partying atmosphere.

Choosing Yalos village, you could easily have a pleasant walk, just a few steps away from Avra Pension, at the marina busy pedestrian right next to the yachts and the little boats or chill out at any of the famous restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, and gelaterias, enjoying the sea view or the sunset.

Avra Pension accommodates you in a two- storey building, having 15 rooms which can host 1, 2 or 3 persons each. Avra Pension has a wonderful full of flowers yard with large comfortable couches, where our continental breakfast is served daily with a splendid variety of homemade marmalades, as well as a generous selection of traditional recipes and locally produced goods and eatings. Our hotel lobby is decorated with special care to every single detail by the hostess in order to create a sense of traditional Cycladic interior design. By the time of your arrival you can take a breath lounging in our spacious vintage sofas, surrounded by the authentic ambience inspired by the truly Greek homey atmosphere. You can always enjoy your breakfast indoors, in our spacious breakfast hall which is equipped with air-conditioning and TV. Our reception desk is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 23:00 p.m. willing to help you with any matter occurred as well as satisfy any requirement addressed. Mind that during the night hours there is always staff available for emergency reasons.
