 | Two of the villas are two-storey 60 sq.meters buildings (Villa Lanassa and Villa Myrtale) while the third is one-storey (ground floor) 45 sq. meters building. All the buildings have fireplace, independent heating, WC with shower, hot water, TV. They are recently built (2007). | | All are built with the distinctive traditional style of the Zagori area. That is to say using local grey-whitish lime-stone. The roofs are covered all the same with gray slate stones. | | Please note that: Villa Lanassa and Villa Myrtale can accommodate with the addition of extra beds four (4) persons on each floor, in total maximum eight (8) persons in each building, while Villa Iris accommodates 3 couples (3 double beds) and can accept 3 more extra beds without any problem (45 sq.m.)! | | LOCATION & AREA

THE MOUNTAINS:Mt Timfi (2,497 m)
It is a high mountain range forming a line of peaks as part of the North Pindos range. Its former name was Papigo. The highest summit is Gamila (Avalo) at an altitude of 2,497 m. Other peaks are: Astraka (2,436 m), Ploskos (2,377 m), Goura (2,466 m), Karteros (2,478 m), Tsouka Rossa (2,377 m), Koula (1,560 m), Lapatos (2,251 m) and Tsioumako (2,157 m). To the north lies the inaccessible Aoos Ravine and to the southwest the Vikos Gorge. The summits of Astraka and Gamila form extensive precipices, which provide tailor-made climbing routes (on rock, ice, or mixed) ranging from very easy to very difficult. On Astraka lies the pot-hole of Provatina, being the second in the world, falling steeply in a depth of 400 m, as well as the alpine lake of Drakolimni . Also on the saddle of Astraka a mountain refuge is built, with a bedding capacity of fifty people. Ascent starts at Papigo (a three-hour route to the refuge), Tsepelovo (a six-hour route to the summit of Gamila or the refuge) and Konitsa (a six-hour route to the refuge). | | Directions | It's easy to find us once you get to Papingo: From the main public car parking of the village Megalo Papingo, we are just 20 meters close to it! | | Transportation | How to get there:
By plane: From Athens or Thessaloniki to Ioannina and then by car(you can rent a car or hire a cab from Ioannina). There are also flights (in the summer) from several european airports to Prezeza (Aktion airport) and Corfu (Corfu airport). From these places you can easily reach Ioannina within a few hours.
By car: Follow the route Trikala - Kalampaka - Metsovo - Ioannina or
Rio - Amfilochia - Arta - Ioannina.
By Bus:
From Athens or Thessaloniki there are buses (coaches) leaving every 1,5 hour to Ioannina. Once you get to Ioannina you can rent a car or hire a taxi. Please note that only one day/week there's a bus departing from Ioannina to Papingo: Every friday morning and evening (6 am and 2:30 pm). The bus fare for a ride from Ioannina to Papingo is about 10 Euros.
The bus journey from Athensto Ioannina takes 6 hours and costs approximately 35 Euros.
The Taxi ride from Ioannina to papingo (65 km) lasts 45 minutes and costs approximately 50 Euros.
From Thessaloniki every day to Ioannina and then by car.
The bus journey from Thessaloniki to Ioannina lasts 5 hours and costs approximately 35 Euros.
