Located in the heart of the most popular area of Athens, Plaka (the neo-classical part of the city), it is a stone’s throw from the Acropolis, right next to the pedestrianized walkway (Dionysiou Areopagitou) which winds all the way around the Acropolis. The street on which it is located guarantees a quiet and cozy environment for all our guests as no noise reaches the hostel from the surrounding bustling city. Almost all of the historical and cultural sites are within walking distance, in particular the famous Temple of Zeus which is just opposite! Whether it is just tourist shops or high street department stores you are after, both are located within 5 minutes of the hostel. Should you decide to bring a car there are 3 secure, paid parking services all within walking distance of the hostel. Other services in the area include a supermarket (open till late), the main post office and 2 banks (Alpha Bank and EuroBank) - situated just around the corner. Continental breakfast is served every morning in our comfortable garden area where you can relax at any time of the day. As former backpackers ourselves, we know what it takes to make a traveler feel comfortable while staying in a hostel. Our 24 hour English speaking staff can help you with any queries you may have, whether it be directions to ancient sites or simply where the good places to eat are.
